The agency was founded in 1970 (as the Legg Agency) in Annapolis. MD. Craig Mader began his career as a producer representing ERIE with Mr. Legg in 1984. In 1988, Craig incorporated Craig S. Mader Insurance Agency, Inc. Craig later partnered with Charlie Peedin who has recently retired.
History of Performance Insurance Group, Inc.
Performance Insurance Group was founded by Edward G. Cooper, who enjoyed a 22-year career with Nationwide, managing their largest service center operation. He was appointed with Erie in 2008 in Odenton, MD, and relocated to Severna Park, MD.

Agency owner, Dana Page, is proud to continue the superior service legacy for which Craig Mader & Performance & Mader Insurance is known. As a former Senior District Sales Manager for Erie Insurance with over 20 years of experience in the insurance and financial services sector, Dana has been recognized for consistently surpassing outcome goals and for her underwriting expertise.
Dana is a Certified Insurance Counselor and a problem-solver with a strong work ethic and solid reputation. She is an industry leader adept in management and best-practice implementation. Dana is also a licensed Real Estate Professional with a passion for meeting the needs of the community.
In her spare time, she loves traveling, interior design, working out, playing with her dogs (Huego and Skye), and spending time with family and friends.
