Let me begin by acknowledging that I am a difficult customer. It appears to me that insurance policies are written by lawyers for other lawyers, but as a customer, I’m sometimes not satisfied with my own understanding, and due to this, I can burn through a lot of time readiing the policy jackets, often many times, trying to understand their true meaning. Still, sometimes I’ve been in doubt of the verbiage and have had to call the office to ask for help, sometimes repeatedly. Dana Page, the agency president, has even assisted me personally on several more difficult to understand issues, but has been patient with me, and has taken the extra time necessary to answer my detailed, sometimes redundant questions, rather than just say “read the policy jacket.” About a year ago, I actually disputed a billing fee on a set of policies which had expired two years prior, but Ms. Page, working with the Erie, got the issue resolved in my favor, and the policies were reissued with retroactive refund credits. With regard to cost, I competitively shopped auto, home, and umbrella policies this past year, and pound for pound, service for service, I didn’t find any better, or even close options available, finding none that they were better priced or had better coverage suited to my partiular needs. Add to this, none of the other firms contacted were able to achieve the same level of responsiveness to my questions regarding understanding of coverage and cost. I feel confident that if I ever need to file a claim, the process will be efficient. In consideration of all of this, I recently referred a neighbor to the agency for a quote, and I’m writing this review because my loyalty has been earned through the agency’s efforts to satisfy my concerns and needs. Your firm was extra patient with me, taking time to answer detailed, often redundant questions, not just say “read the policy jacket.” I also disputed a fee/billing matter on past cycles, which was favorably resolved. With regard to costs of coverage, I shopped insurance this last year, and pound for pound, service for service, didn’t find better. On top of this, Mader and Performance Insurance has (continued) to develop my confidence that, should I ever need to file a claim (which I doubt!), the process will be efficient and that the results will have no surprises. While I could be over confident, other firms were not able to achieve such a high trust and cooperation level. And, I have referred others to the firm within the past three weeks! -A satisfied, yet difficult customer.

It’s always a pleasure to work with a person, such as you, that knows her business and actually takes time to provide actuate/detailed information without feeling rushed or frustrated due to the volume of questions asked.
